TimeOut PC software controls and limits time spent on a computer.
It is aimed mainly at parents who want to control how much time
their children are spending on the computer.
The time spent playing games and surfing the Internet can be
monitored. In addition, the length of time the computer is in use
can also be monitored. After a specific length of time a user will
be informed that the usage time has been reached and the
application cannot be re-activated until a specific length of time
has expired. The computer may also be automatically shutdown.
Timeout PC is both flexible and easy-to-use. It automatically runs
in the background on startup and an icon in the system tray,
beside the clock, is used to access the software. Timeout PC
informs the user 1 minute before their time expires, giving them
an opportunity to exit their game or application.
